Maximize Your Time!

Good Afternoon Ladies!
I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to maximize our temporary new normal. While some of us are considered “essential workers” there are others of us who have been given more free time. The question now becomes, “What should I do with the time that I have been given"?
Here are a few spiritual and natural ideas that you may not have thought of:
Spiritual Ideas:
Create a prayer room in your home.
Start a Journal. Write down the things that God shares with you during your prayer time.
Pick one book of the bible and do an extensive study.
Go for a walk and earnestly talk to God. Whenever He speaks write it down. It will encourage you later I promise!
Write poetry and songs about your relationship with God and His creation.
Spend time daily praying in your heavenly language.
Find ways to serve someone else (exhibit His love).
Sing new songs unto the Lord. Write them down as time allows. They may be prophetic. Remember that God speaks in various ways.
Take out time daily to pray for loved ones and those in need of salvation.
Post positive words or phrases throughout your home to remind you of God’s promises and love towards you.
Natural Ideas:
Declutter your home.
Read a book.
Create a budget, get life insurance, and/or create a will. In other words, get a grip on your financial affairs.
Start a new hobby (baking, couponing, scrapbooking, gardening, painting).
Start an online business.
Start a workout program.
Start a blog.
Take an online class.
Zoom with family and friends that you haven’t been able to spend time with.
Take time for self-care (hair, nails, bubble bath, soothing music, candles, etc). You deserve it!
If you are an “essential worker” you may still be able to carve out time to do some of these things as well. We just have to be a little bit more intentional. I know that you can do it!
Enjoy your day and the rest of your week. Remember that you are not alone and everything that concerns you, concerns God!

Don’t waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It’s a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive they look in the light of Christ.
Wake up from your sleep, Climb out of your coffins; Christ will show you the light!
So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times!
